Our 14 favourite tweets from our 25th birthday celebrations

posted by in Debt news

On the 25 January, we celebrated our 25th anniversary.

We were pleased as punch with all the birthday wishes we received, and here are some of our favourites.

Our friends lined up to wish us well

The CEOs of Samaritans and Money Advice Trust were full of kind words for us:

MoneySavingExpert.com wished us a happy birthday.

We were delighted to find out that Ruth Maguire MSP wished us a happy birthday in the Scottish Parliament!

Anti-child poverty organisations 4 in 10 highlighted the help we offer to families in need.

Our pals at Northumbrian Water think we’re ageing well!

We also received a birthday cake GIF from the lovely folk from Christians Against Poverty.

People we’ve helped expressed their gratitude

We’ve helped over 5 million people with their debts in the last twenty five years. A few of those people sent us a tweet on our birthday.

Our colleagues joined the party spirit

The team in London wound back the clock to when we launched by wearing their best 90s gear.

Carley in Client Support loved our balloons.

Claire in our Leeds office has been with us for 14 of our 25 years, and she’s proud as punch about it.

Rob’s in our Leeds office too, and he drew attention to the valuable service we provide to our clients.

Rachel in the Digital Content Team celebrated the occasion by going for a double-denim look.

It wasn’t just Twitter…

We received some lovely, heart-felt messages on our Facebook post too!

Here’s to the next 25 years, and thanks to everyone who wished us a happy birthday!

James Winterbottom has been a debt advisor for six years. Away from work he is an amateur app developer and writes fiction. James is a lifelong supporter of Huddersfield Town football club, which suggests he is either very loyal or very daft. He also likes to talk about himself in the third person in bio pages.
